We’ll spend 11 days exploring, tasting, and immersing ourselves in the historic centers of these quintessential towns and evenings exploring the beautifully illuminated markets.
We begin our adventure in Vienna where we’ll meet for a welcome dinner on the day of arrival. With its 20 official Christmas markets, offering handmade gifts, mouth-watering treats and enchanting lights, to fill our senses, the traditions date back to 1298. After Vienna, we'll visit Salzburg with several tiny, but amazing markets filled with local artisans, gorgeous handmade crafts, roasting chestnuts, and the smell of gingerbread in the air. On the way to Alsace, Munich offers some of the oldest and best Christmas Markets in Germany and we will explore them during our 2 days there.
Next, we'll head to the stunning, ancient town of Strasbourg, a UNESCO site and international culinary destination with some surprise stops along the way. As one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe, this Alsatian treasure fills your senses with twinkling lights and delicious aromas that take you on a sensory journey through some 300 wooden chalets set up in the historic center. The warm charm enchants all who have the pleasure of seeing this stunning display of the holiday season.
Once we have explored Strasbourg, we take the TGV to Paris to either fly out or extend your stay.
