Explore your passion for food and cooking as we immerse ourselves in the culinary richness of Morocco which blends old world Berber, Arabic, French and Spanish cuisines. Learn the fundamentals of fragrant tajine cooking and other typical dishes utilizing regional techniques, local ingredients and rare spices, working alongside local Moroccan chefs to see how they create such unique flavors.
As we travel to these stunning locations, we are welcomed by the local people in ancient Moroccan mansions that have been lovingly restored by local artisans and craftsmen. Our riads sit in the center of the ancient medinas affording convenient access to explore the labyrinth souks filled with artisanal food, handmade rugs, antiques and everything imaginable from near and far.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – A Sensory Welcome
- Stay at a stylish and luxurious riad in the heart of the Medina.
- Afternoon: Private transfer to your riad and welcome Moroccan mint tea. Tour of the surrounding souks. Lunch at the riad depending on arrival time.
- Evening: Welcome dinner at a locally renowned restaurant featuring classic dishes like Mechoui lamb & Pastilla.
Day 2: Exploring Marrakech’s Culinary Secrets
- Morning: Guided visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa & the spice markets, and food tour.
- Afternoon: Cooking class at a traditional riad, learning to make Tagine, Harira soup & Moroccan salads.
- Evening: Free time to explore the Medina shops and try one of the amazing restaurants nearby.
Day 3: Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains & Berber Cooking Class
- Morning: Private transfer to the Ourika Valley for a Berber cooking class in a former sultan's palace.
- Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Tanjia slow-cooked dish with views of the mountains.
- Evening: Hammam & spa experience, followed by dinner at Le Bistro Arabe Moroccan jazz restaurant.
Day 4: Coastal Escape to Essaouira
- Morning: Scenic drive to Essaouira, stopping to admire the ocean views and local artisan cooperatives.
- Afternoon: Check-in at 5* Riad Villa Maroc (or similar), a stunning seaside riad.
Day 5: Cooking & Wine Tasting in Essaouira
- Morning: Seafood cooking class in the medina, preparing Chermoula-grilled fish & seafood pastilla.
- Afternoon: Wine tasting at Val d’Argan winery, Morocco’s premier vineyard.
- Evening: Dinner at a local seafood restaurant at the beach serving a blend of Moroccan and Mediterranean flavors.
Day 6: Luxury Desert Experience in Agafay
- Morning: Scenic drive to Agafay Desert, check-in at a luxury tented camp.
- Afternoon: After a quick lunch break, a 4 wheel drive adventure and mint tea ceremony.
- Evening: Nomadic-style dinner under the stars, featuring slow-roasted Mechoui lamb & saffron couscous.
Day 7: Desert Cooking & Sunset Dining
- Morning: Desert cooking class with a local chef, learning to prepare Medfouna (Berber stuffed bread).
- Afternoon: Optional activities across the desert or stay and enjoy the hammam treatments.
- Evening: Dinner with fire-lit storytelling & live Gnawa music.
Day 8: Back to Marrakech with Visits to Artisan Cooperatives
- Morning: Drive back to Marrakech
- Afternoon: Tour of Bahia Palace, souks and shops
- Evening: Farewell dinner at a special restaurant in the Medina
Day 9: Private airport transfer or stay on for the optional nights.
